Clean targets, one for sighters, one for twenty rounds

Nice day looking back toward benches....

Started rifle at +5MOA and 0 wind....

8 sighters. Three on left were 5/0. Came up some, .5, and moved too far right. Last were 6/.25 in the three inch circle...

Than started on last twenty...

Realized when I was putting my scope caps on I hadnt set the 300 yard parallax at the head.

Probably wouldnt have mattered much but I got the "IF ONLYS" now.

Next time set the parallax, 5.75 MOA E from 0 and the .25R wind will get me one or two more in the circle.

That's the beauty of shooting these rifles with that scope and using a chin weld to see thru it...... sailing along and out goes that one shot high or low. And after the requisite cussing, you're left thinking how the fuck did I do that??
I enjoy shooting my 70 more than any other rifle I own, maybe cause it keeps me humble.
