It depends on which barrel.
In 1-8 twist, or 1-9, Hornady 68 grain, match hollowpoints with 25 grains of Varget seem to do really well. When you can find Hornady 60 grain V-Max bullets, they seem to do almost as well, and they have also shot good out of my 1-10, and 1-12 barrels.

Whats your COAL with the 75gr. A-MAX when you single load them?
I think I loaded mine at 2.388" but im not sure if my memory is correct.

shot a .236 ctc 3 shot with this load out of my rem 700 26" 1-12 223 sps varmint in a hogue pillar stock on christmas eve. i also shot a .183 3 shot cloverleaf with the same load with 55 vmaxs, cant wait to see what it does after the bedding dries

Shot a 3.5" group at 600y.
This load shoots through three different Noveske barrels under 5/8" at 100y.
