Gunsmithing Fayetville nc gunsmith help

Looking for a good gunsmith to work on my remington 700 in the fayetville nc area. Also wondering if any of you have advice for barrel length and contour for a 308. Id like to switch out the barrel on the rem 700 sps. im currently running a 20 inch factory varmit barrel. Should i go 26 or 24 and what twist. Im shooting 175 gr smk in lc brass. Used for comps and training.

I can say that I’d recommend both these guys suggested. If you want to drive a tad extra, I’d go to Dave first. Gray is a good guy and builds good rifles. If you want stay close to Fayetteville, go to shooter supply and talk to Dave the owner. He may have some suggestions for local guys that are top notch.

If its just barrel work you want either Gray or Dave will do great work. If you want anything other than a barrel put on Id go Dave.

I will not elaborate but 3 builds worth of fixing stuff has convinced me of this hands down. Gray is a nice guy, nothing personal against him.
