So Federal's idea is now to charge several hundred dollars a month to receive ammo as a subscription service? Because that won't hurt the amount of ammo available in retail and direct. How is this not going to affect the amount of ammo they produce and who they prioritize shipping to. Guess if you want to get 115 9mm ball you'll now have to subscribe to federal and get locked in for a year. Otherwise sit back and just hope that your local store gets 1-5 boxes a month.
And Federal cannot claim that its hurting for money, they just bumped all their prices by 15-25% this year.

$0.55/cartridge (before taxes or shipping) for range fodder 9mm seems kinda pricey, especially since the local big box stores have shelves sagging with 9mm right now, for less. But, if you need it and ain' got it. Go for it..

If Federal can get a well developed subscription service moving, it allows them to more easily forecast demand. Kinda like how smaller companies try to get you to pre-order for the new hotness. Get your money, assess demand, make what is needed.

My local shelves are this much or more and not overflowing.

I do like the idea, Federal is not the first to do it. In hindsight I should have locked in to one of these back when the price was lower.
