This does not really fit in any particular forum, so... Does anyone know if Federal stopped making the FC262 (77 grn 5.56)? I tried searching several forums and google and cannot find it. My AR shoots them 1/2" and better but I do not have that many left and everywhere has been out of stock and says no backorder at most places. Thanks

Yeh oddly enough my AR shoots the 5.56 black hills right at an inch and the federal version at 1/2" I tried mutliple groups, so it was not a fluke. I may settle for IMI 77 gr. for cheaper range ammo. That shot as well as BH for about .60 rd. vrs 1$. The TMK shoots bad out of all my AR's! I have not reloaded any so maybe they would be better.

Yes they still make it. That's what I shoot out of my LMT 20" SS 5R Cut Barrel. Excellent ammo. I just checked Target Sports, great prices and usually free shipping, but they are out of stock. Cheaper Than Dirt has it in stock looks like.
I don't believe they make it anymore. FC262 is no longer listed on Federal's website nor in the 2018 catalog (that I could find). Anything still at distributors will likely just be stock that was purchased from one of the last runs.
