Federal gold-medal match 30-06

If fgmm 308 is the std every one is comparing there load too, is the same statement true for a 30-06? I was going to buy a box or two to check the accuracy of my rifle.

Ive never compared mine to it or even shot it for that matter. I have heard of peoples 308s not liking fgmm. Theres no standard other than what your particular rifle likes.

FGMM 30-06/168 worked very well for me.

It worked pretty well for me in my R700 until I had it rechambered for .300WM. Very consistent ammo.

While I have never used .30-06 FGGM, I do use HSM 178 AMAX load. The HSM is very accurate, I shot a 6 shot group at 1000 yards that measured just over 1/2 moa.

ETA I think the HSM is a bolt gun load not downloaded to .308 velocities like FGGM. The HSM requires 32 moa to get to 1k.
