looking for federal 125 gr nyclad 38 ammo. don't see it anywhere. did they discontinue it? if not,where to buy?

I just looked at Midway and they say it was discontinued by Federal. Sorry.

sucks. supposedly 1 of best loads for 2" bbl 38s.

Times change. The Nyclad was around forever. Hornady Critical Defense has a good reputation. Buffalo Bore 158s make for some wicked penetration which might be your thing for winter:

I have 5 of those cartridges in my J frame...

Nyclad ammo is now being made by CCI-Speer in Lewiston Idaho for Herter's brand (Cabelas). Don't know if there is anything but 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP currently being produced.

got a j frame. going to try a variety of loads. i do think that 158gr is wrong for a 2" bbl. and i think +P might be the same. opinions?
