I hate shipping firearm parts the second they hear rifle stock or scope they freak out. I just sent 45 mins in Fedex trying to ship a AICS stock to GAP and my Premier scope out to Premier. All the people there insisted that I had to ship both items to an FFL holder, idiots. When I start telling them their jobs they start with the same bullshit, there are new regulations and want to look through a book like they are going to find something they can use against me.

Good thing it wasnt an AR upper their heads would have exploded.

I wouldn't even tell them what if was except for the value of the items. Ok rant over, Nick out

Re: FEDEX UUHHH

Unless they were a gun owner themselves.....if they were smart enough to get it they wouldn't be working there. Got the same thing over a stock once.

Re: FEDEX UUHHH

I'll ship USPS till it no longer exists. They've always been cheaper, faster and more reliable than Fedex or UPS for me.

I sold a bipod here Saturday morning to someone three states away. Dropped it into my mailbox Saturday before the mailman picked up the mail. It was delivered today. Total cost with delivery confirmation = $5. To get it there that fast with Fedex or UPS = $25.

Re: FEDEX UUHHH

If its not the "guts", the fireing mechanism, why would you tell them anything. Its none of their business. Just like shiping a preamplifier or a piece of china. Just ship it. No need to thell them anything.

I agree. Just tell them it's machine parts or a magnifier/telescope if they want a description for insurance.

Re: FEDEX UUHHH

The descriptions "Accuracy International 2.0 Chassis System" and "Premier Optics Heritage 5-25x56 Scope" are adequate descriptions for ANY insurance claim and innocent enough to not raise any red flags. If a general description is requested, simply state "sporting goods".

No reason to state Rifle Scope or Rifle Stock.
