Gunsmithing Feedback on Spence Gunsmithing, Dayton OH

Does anyone have any experience with him? Need a DBM installed. Feel free to PM if desired.

He went to gunsmith school in PA where I'm currently attending. One of the instructors sent him a receiver to be case hardened. Should be back soon, but I hear good things about the work he put out in school

Just so you know, the reason I ask is because I'm an engineer with significant experience with the heat treatment of steels.......

And I just noticed something in your reply. A picture is useless to evaluate a case hardening.

A gunsmithing school doesn't make you a gunsmith anymore than knowing how to swim makes you a fish!

Both of these smiths are Buckeye's.

I have used SAC and was Very happy, I have not personally use area419 but have heard a lot of good feedback.

Both are well within a drive from Dayton, and worth it.

Nice find on Area 419. They're 1 hr closer to me than SAC.
