Question for those that have a FFP scope with any type of a 1/2 mil hash reticle. How difficult do you find it to pick up the 1/2 mil hash line?

I have the new weaver tactical FFP and though have no complaints about the quality of the scope or the glass I find the more I use it the more I have trouble finding the vertical hash marks. The odd part is I can pick up the horizontal ones decent but not the vertical. Adjusting the eye lens has little effect on it. I have 20/20 vision and no trouble seeing detail nor is there a problem with the focus or clarity of the lens.

One of the problems is the half mils is they are not lines but dots on each side of the line. It was a good attempt at adding more precise measurements but poorly implemented.

So again, are other 1/2 mil hash type reticules the same or better in this regard?

At 3x the reticle just looks much like a duplex but its mostly at the higher powers 10-15x. Again, as stated the odd thing is the horizontal ones I can decently make out, the vertical ones are the problem. This is my first FFP, do other similar mil-hash FFP's suffer with this as well?

I have a nf f1 with a mlr and have had problems seeing the half mil marks against black targets, on movers in particular. After checking out Frank's mlr2 reticle I would highly recommend it. Nightforce has made it more user friendly.
