I have some 69gr FGMM in 223 that is magic in my 9 twist bolt gun.
Accurate, Hits beyond transonic, 2800 at the muzzle and consistent.
I cannot duplicate it with Varget. Varget leaves my brass showing the ring, a good one, at 2800 with a .030 jump.
Any suggestions?

Some loads just flat out work. Trying to duplicate it is impossible most of the time.
They'll never divulge the exact contents of it.

Once we got ahold of some .223 ammo from a smaller, kinda local manufacturer. Lapua brass, 55 gr Blitzking bullet. Exellent load, accurate, good velocity. Got the inside tip it's H335 powder, so we pull a handfull and weigh the charge.
Tried to duplicate it, our loads were so hot they were dangerous.
Come to find out they mixed in flame retardent so our charge was excessive.
Never again!

I was told that fed used imr4895 in their fgmm... Don't know if that's true but have used imr4895 and H4895 in both 69 loads and my 168/175 .308 loads and are just as accurate if not more so than fgmm. I use mostly H4895 just because I get it cheaper than imr.
