Thought I would show my AR308 build finally finished.
Because of Covid I had trouble finding parts so happy it’s finally done.

Good looking rifle How does it shoot? We’ve got a couple of BA barrels that are hammers. Our 2 took some breaking in to really shoot well but I helped a buddy build one that was magical from day 1 and continues to shoot like a $500 barrel.

Taken it out a few times and had a gas issue causing the seekins adjustable gas block to be run almost wide open. I’ve used these gas blocks a lot so I know it’s not the block having an issue.
I enlarged the gas port in the barrel slightly and put the system back together and on range day found it operates fine and locks back every time at 21/2 turns but set it at 3 turns For reliability and locked the adjustment screw down.
The rifle is more accurate than I am a bit chunky but I love the knock down.
Now I need more ammo it’s a hungry beast!!!!
