Sidearms & Scatterguns Finally got a Sebebza..

Been camped out by the front window waiting for the Post woman to come by this AM, cup of coffee and dogs in tote. She delivered me my first CRK, a beautiful new Large Micarta Insingo.

Pulling the cord before ever being able to handle one and only reading threads and watching videos, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. Lots of excitement and a little concern as many have said "you may be underwhelmed". Well let me assure you I could be nothing farther than underwhelmed. This thing is an AMAZING piece of craftsmanship. Being a pessimistic person by nature, I immediately pulled it out of the box and began to look for flaws.. anything and everything.. nothing to speak of though. I was almost disappointed for some odd reason b/c I've never received anything that didn't have at least some flaw. In that moment, I got it. This is the price of perfection. I've always been one of those that could deal with imperfection as long as the product did what it was supposed to and served its purpose. This now shows me you CAN HAVE IT ALL, and really at one time in your life, you should.

So anyone on the fence about trying a CRK, DO! There is something magical about, well, everything. That beautiful 'tick' as it closes. Anyway, enough of my spew, I've got to go break this thing in.

That is a beautiful knife. In my opinion, the EDC folder that all others ought to be judged upon. Wish I had one.

I've done the overbuilt "tactical" thing and came back to a good light, functional cutting EDC. I've always loved my Military and recently got a BM 940 which replaced the Military b/c of size/weight/pocket real estate taken while still providing a sizeable blade. This CRK is a bit bigger and a bit heavier, but a work of art. You really will never understand until you try one out.. and I highly recommend you do if you have the means. It is a life long investment.. the kind of knife your grandfather passed down to you (I my instance a well used Case).

This is the knife all other are compared to. Bad news - you'll never be happier with another knife. You can stop looking at knifes now.

The little Sebbie never worked for me though. I love the big one. I cut myself more times with the little one than any other knife. I have a few CRK - love the old hollow handles. Mr. Reeves is a really nice guy and his wife is a wonderful person too. I enjoyed meeting them both. You got a really nice blade!

I have a small one and absolutely love it. I carried Bench Made knives for a long time before getting this one but haven't had anything other than the CRK in my pocket sense. I will probably add a large Sebbi at some point but this knife has been perfect thus far.
