Started life as my Rem700 SPS-T in .308 and has treated me well for 5 years. Came time for a makeover so ordered up a Kreiger 6.5 blank from Bugholes and handed it over to the guys at NW Action Works to true up the action and chamber the barrel in .260 for me. Took them 3 weeks to the day it left my hands to get it back in my hands. I got it back last Wednesday night and started in on it Thursday night. I bedded it into my B&C stock with Acraglass, bedded the base, did a real quick paint job on the stock late Saturday night after a match, Cerakoted the metal in FDE, installed a Timney, got it torqued in to the stock, mounted up the optics, added a Seekins rail for the bipod with a Larue mount, and working on loading some test rounds right now plus the rounds for the OCW test.
Here are the group shots that the guys at NW Action Works emailed me when they test fired it. Just dropped in to one of their stocks and some optics thrown on it. I know its only 3 rounds but it is rounds 4, 5, and 6 out of it with factory off the shelf hunting ammo.
The color/scheme isn't for everyone but I wanted it to be a bit unique.
