Just had to share! Im stoked! Big thanks to all the folks on here that have got me this far. I know I should have just bought a pound of powder but was able to score an 8# jug of IMR 4064 today from Powder Valley. I can get 1# stuff locally for $28/# (Varget anyway) to try for kicks. I went to Cabelas tonight and they had Winchester LR WLR primers. I grabbed 1000 of them. Havent read as much about them as I have CCI 200 or BR2 primers. Any words of wisdom? Good to go? I will using Lake City LR brass and 175 SMK's. Let me know what yall think! Reloading equipment should all be in Thursday!

Win primers work fine, the4064 is quickly moving to being myfavorite powder again,I been so caught up with the wiz bang RL 15 and Varget I forgot how good the 4064 was. I have many jugs of all 3 but find myself using 4064 and LC brass more and more lately, with very good results.

Cool, Army Jerry Im kinda seeing that alot. Ive read everything I could the last week or so I been at work and that keeps popping up. I see you have Hoka Hey at the bottom of your post.....your rode that ride? Thats something thats sure in my bucket list!

Yep the first one from Key West to Homer AK, finished in the middle of the pack of finishers, abut 10 hours after the winner. Don't do it unless you are a disciplined rider, and disciplined in general, it gets a bit dangerous. Its a religious experience, we have a beautiful country with good people all around, IMHO.

Well ran up on some CCI BR2 primers today so bought a couple thousand. Ill use the WLR for some plinking stuff I reload out of some randome brass I got (FGMM, Remington and Winchester). Save the BR2's for my Lake City LR brass.
