Re: finally here

Thanks guys, pediatrician said Alina could come home today but the wife might have to wait. All was well during the pregnancy but last minute, Alina decides to turn so they had to operate. I spent the night at the hospital and talk about no rest. She was waking up every 1 1/2 to 2 hours to eat, then would cry if you didn't stay up taking to her

Re: finally here

Great pic Lazy. A couple of days late but congratulations! Since this is your first....
Cupped hand on the back after feeding. You would be surprised how some good burping talents will help.
Children's Tylenol.
Mylacon
Have Momma stay away from gassy foods if breast feeding
Ora-jell when they get old enough to start teething.
When they cry don't panic, relax, babies pick up on tension in your voice.
Don't be quiet. Carry on normal conversations. You would be surprised what a baby can sleep through.
Those stupid looking mitts you put on their hands really do keep them from scratching their face.
Dress them the same as you would be dressed. If you are cold the baby would be cold and vice-versa.
Just because she wants to sleep through the night does not mean you shouldn't wake them up for feedings. Nothing better than keeping to schedules.
Booger suckers are icky but they work friggin' great.
Support that neck and head at all times.
If you feed them to much.. they have a God installed stomach leveling kit and you will end up a mess.
.......
hmmm I will add more as I remember them. I just became a grandfather last month so I am getting forgetful.

Lazy will protect her to the fullest ability of his 45 pounds and tenacity. Make sure she knows how to control him and train her to walk him from the earliest possible time as Lazy will be in his mellowest prime then

Re: finally here

She's beautiful!

Belated Congratulations and I hope Mrs. Lazy is well.

If she had been born 2 hours earlier, she'd share a birthday with my first girl! Mine turned twenty on that day. She too insisted on coming into the world standing up (Breech)!

She's been a wonderful little pain in the butt ever since, as has her younger sister.

I can assure you the time does fly so don't waste any! Before you know it they are young women or men, planning their weddings, or going off to school, or starting careers. And you wonder when you'll be able to spend time with them again...The bittersweet irony of a job done well I guess.

Anyway, you can't get the time back, so make the most of it.

Congratulations!
