When I set my bench up I was hoping to make it more of a "work bench" than a single use "reloading bench"

Finally got try the utility of my T-track today

I had thoughts of spinning off stock extensions, using the vice to work on a receiver, maybe changing a Garand or 03 barrel at some point.......I guess building pine wood derby cars is as good a use as any of those.

Pine wood derby cars, I remember the day! Nice looking bench and Good Luck with the car.

I think we will go for looks with a chopped Roadster design rather than speed. I thought these things were just just rectangular blocks of wood with wheels nailed to them. Now I find people polish the nails, lathe and polish the wheels, experiment with graphite powders. Maybe next year we go for speed.

Couldnt be happier with the bench. Had concerns with the track not holding up but knock on wood the press has been solid.

Polish the axles (nails), sand down and dress the mold parting line on the wheels, come in about .0000001gr under the maximum weight (but be sure you have the ability to adjust weight @ the event), and don't "experiment" with graphite lubricant - USE IT! Be sure the wheels/axles are well broken in to one another.

    Oh yeah, nice bench.

My son ended up with a flame job car and my daughter got the one with the measles

Never knew 5 and 6 year old kids had such great wood working skills. Sadly the were lacking in the speed department but it was fun.
