Well, I hope this is permitted- I tried contacting Frank, but seem to have struck out on getting through.
I don't really want to put ALL of his business and details out there, but one member of the first place team in both the 2016 Winston P Wilson Sniper Competition, and 2016 International Sniper Competition, SGT "Keo" recently suffered $25,000 loss when his vehicle was broken into. I urged him to set up a go fund me, but he said he wouldn't feel right asking for handouts, so I said "the hell with it, I'll do it for you!".
Perhaps the most painful part of this loss is that the Larue PreditOBR that was the main prize in his prize package at the Benning comp, was among the items stolen.
He wasn't storing his gear in his vehicle, it's simply a case of impeccable timing on the part of the thief(s).
Understand, this isn't a gofundme to replace firearms- that is against the rules, and really, his Larue rifle is non-replaceable as it was essentially a trophy. Similar to how an olympian's gold medal cannot be simply replaced. This is to replace the various equipment items he lost that aid in his job as a Sniper, and in competition as well as training, and to offset the financial loss as a whole. What exact items he choses to replace with these funds will be up to him, as he knows best what will help him win this year.
Please, donate if you can afford a few bucks. He's a hell of a guy, and this is really bad timing given he's currently training up to attend the 2017 Benning competition.
