I have a 22-250 that will be getting rebarreled at some point to 22CM so I can shoot bigger pills. I have about 400 pieces of 1x fired 22-250 Lapua brass that will then be not needed. Has anyone fireformed this to 22CM? It seems it could be done but may not be worth it.

You can do it - but you’ll end up with a shorter neck. Can still shoot well but not ideal way to get 22CM case formed (others may think differently). Give it a try and see how you get on.
Thats what I had read other places too. The other thing is that's 400brds down a hotrod barrel just to fireform. May be better to sell it and use the proceeds to buy proper brass.
The bullet will not know the difference between a 22-250 and a 22 Creedmoor. The one benefit of the Creedmoor is it will play nicer in a magazine. If you choose to fire form it you should be fine. I fire formed some 22-250 to 6 Creed and it worked but the neck was a little short.
What issues would the shorter neck lead to? Increased or exaggerated concentricity numbers?
