I am new to fireforming brass. Just wanted some info on the process. I have read that 6brx can be jammed in 6br brass to be fireformed without using false shoulder method. Is this the best method? Thanks for any help.

False should plus jam is absolutely best. It’s nive to have the false should just so you kind of have a little starting point on that shoulder expansion.

I’ve also really liked my brass that i had hydroformed. Honestly if you add everything up, it’s cheaper.

What magazines and followers do you use in your XLR chassis for the BRX?

False shoulder and a slight jam for me also. I like to shoot so I have no problems fireforming. Mine was capable of sub 1" groups at 400 while forming with 105 amax over varget.

I shoot a dasher and to fireform I did the false shoulder... but switched to jamming a bullet into the lands with a light benchrest load. It's easier and quicker and still provided right groups and great practice.
