Does some one make a firing pin dis-assembly and re-assembly tool??? I need one that would work on a Rem 700 and Stiller Tac 30. Anyone???

Have had one of those for 8-10yrs and are slicker than snot for removing FP assemblies. Don't know what you could buy that would be better or more simple!

Iv had one for my hole life. Just didn't know it. Use you boot lace. No tool to loose.

Shoe lace is good for in the field when you don't have the right tools but having the right tools for the job at home make life easier.
I have a tool like Shredder to take the bolt shroud and firing pin out of the bolt body. Something like this below

To work on '700 without effort and overall whithout maiming ng yourself or your bolt, you will need perhaps two tools,both available from Sinclair : FIRING PIN REMOVAL TOOL and after that the MAINSPRING CHANGING TOOL,depending on what's your goal_

I use a square cut peice of oak and a penny, works like a charm dont cost much.

Thanks guys. I know how to use a shoelace and a dime to take the firing pin out. I was more looking for the mainspring tool thingy. I'm going to get them both.
