Just wanted to show off my first AR.

and the matching plinker

I have not been able to shoot it yet but I hope to make it out this weekend. I bought 200 rds of xm855 just to get some trigger time with the rifle. What kind of accuracy can I expect to get out of these rounds? The rifle will be used for hogs and coyotes has any one tried the xm855 on pigs? I heard they worked well.

Nice you'll dig them. The M&P15TS was my first AR when I switched over from the AK platform and got with the modern program. They run without any issues. I'm still using both my lowers from my two TS rifles, but the uppers moved on so I could build other stuff.

Thanks guys I will post a range report next week when I get back. I am going to try the acog out to 600 meters I might try and get some video.

Awesome lightweight gun man! One of my coworkers bought this recently and it was a shooter. You're gonna have a blast shooting it with that ACOG; we had no problems hitting steel @300yds standing with an Eotech mounted. I can't say anything regarding hunting with it or xm855 though.
