And we didn't even see our intended game, much less get any shots off. In fact, the only thing with fur that we saw was a feral cat.
We were hunting squirrel in Miller-Welch Central KY WMA and it seemed as if squirrels had never been to that part of KY in the history of the earth. Not even a branch sake in the distance.
All that said, it would be a great coyote hunting area. Lots of scat and plenty of places to make a stand. Too bad one can't hunt coyote there. They can be trapped, just not hunted.
I'll be going again on Monday morning at a different spot. Hopefully I can see squirrels aplenty and signs of coyote so that I can go back.
