Has any one used bdc rettical for long range ?
And can it be used like a mill dot to range fined ?
Dose the monark come with other turrets,or do I have to purchus them seperetly ?

What kind of rifle? What caliber? Intended use of rifle? Without knowing any of that, for a good priced optic, with a good warranty, i would suggest a vortex. I have never been able to afford the high dollar stuff but wanted something that will work and not break me and have discovered vortex. They have very expensive scopes and then very affordable ones as well with the same warranty. Check them out. Good luck.

I would always suggest skipping the BDC reticle for a general purpose scope. They only work with ONE bullet, at ONE speed, at ONE atmosphere (It gets noticeable past 300yds, I believe).

I would skip Nikon, also. Nikon makes some good glass for the money, but (I think) they only make MOA turrets and the ranging reticles in MILS. I have a Nikon on my hunting rifle, but will not put one on my long range gun unless I had little other choice.
