Hey guys,

Went and shot for the first time past 100 yds and wanted to see how i did at 300yds. The wind was about 30knts with some gusts getting closer to 40 from the 2oclock. it was about 75F.

The wind wasn't so much messing with my shots as much as it was basically kicking the shit out of the target set up as they were not exactly super stable in the wind.
This is my first group out of my Rem700 SPSVarmint 308 26" shooting 175SMKs, Fed210 primers, 44gr varget in hornady match brass to 2.800 OAL.

The target frames fall into a frame on the ground that can be moved around and I think throughout the day it moved around a little on the ground especially from the larger gusts.

anyways,
what do you think? I get ~.5MOA at 100 yards with a bipod and a rear bag.

thanks

chuck

Thanks, that was the only picture i got but the others were closer to 4.5" at the longest.
The rifle specs are:
Rem 700 SPSvar 308 26"
McMillan A5 bedded
Badger M5
Jewell set to 1.5#
EGW 20 MOA base
Nightforce NXS 3.5-15X50 F1
nightforce light rings

This was the first group I shot after getting dialed in at 100 so that was not the same POI/POA, but I got it dialed in on the later groups to atleast be around the bullseye.
