No one knows anyone that does this? It seems like people can only do the normal push-feed bolts.

personaly i would'nt mess with it...you're taking one of the most absolutely reliable actions and making a maybe out of it, even if it is possible...my thoughts are the extractor <span style="text-decoration: underline">may</span> get hung up

Yeah, I was thinking that they probably don't do it because you would have to work around so many pieces if you wanted to flute it, but I would think that its possible.

Possible, yes.
I would err towards the reliability though. I have a custom built on an FN & wouldn't personally mess with it. I chose the FN over the 700 for my build due to the inherent reliability of the controlled round feed design.
As it is designed, its an ultra-reliable action & needs no modifications to run.

Between keeping clear of the extractor and retaining collar, there isn't much left that you can flute.

I advise against it.
I have a Nesika with a mechanical eject. The bolt was mistakenly fluted during production. (I got it for stupid cheap as a result)
The flutes cause big issues with the mechanical ejector. It'll fall in and won't want to rotate out of battery. The only solution is to machine a trough for it to follow. Unfortunately you have a big ol ring that the extractor depends on.
Anything is possible and I was able to get mine to work well enough but I'd never buy/do one like this.
You have a good action. One of the best designs out there IMHO. Spend your money on bulletz n gas money.

I'd give Karl at http://www.kampfeldcustom.com/ a call. He's fluted more bolts, barrels and whatever than probably anyone else in the industry. His work is as good as it gets and he's a great guy. If it can be done, he can do it.
