Nice pics bro. Good use of the rule of thirds. Personally I'd open up the aperture to blur the background and emphasize the subject a little better if your lens allows you to. f/2.8 should cut it.
I'm no photographer, honestly I just went off what looked good to me. My camera is just a cannon power shot S5 IS and as far as I know doesn't have any manual settings.
It is an A1 that I added the TBM to. YES! it is a huge improvement over the DBM. The release is just like on an AR platform and I like that a alot because of no training curve for me and it cannot get snagged on anything. I have seen a few guys ruin one of their stages at a tac comp but snagging their release on something and it dropping their mag.

Gotta love those SPR's. I just shot mine with some new paint this week and decided to take some pics also.
I wish the chassis makers would come out with a chassis like the controls on the AR. But for some reason none of them do. I'm not sure why.
I agree! It is a platform that most "shooters" have had experience with and is, for the most part, very ergonomic and just plain works for most situations.
DaCam, that's the beauty of these FN"s they pretty much come "tircked out" all you can do it add a few things here and there to make life easier. There isn't much you can do to make them shoot better than out of the box bc they just plain shoot and shoot well. I would even say your rifle is more "tricked out" than mine only thing that looks a lot different than yours is about 4 coats of Rustoleum ultra flat paint. I am in the process of finding some flush cups to mount into my stock as I feel that is a huge improvement over using the swivel studs to sling the rifle.

Mine and all the ones that I have heard about and seen will all shoot consistant 1/2 MOA with factory Federal GMM or hand loads and some shoot better than that.

Well I was debating on getting a FN SPR or Remington SPS Tactical AAC-SD for my .308 looks like this is settled.
All guns discussed coming from FN SPR seem to shoot at or below .5 MOA? Yea, sign me up, I'll bit the increased price tag especially since it comes with all the stuff I'd end up doing to the SPS Tactical anyways.

It's just the camoform wrap, I didn't want to paint my optic and the wrap protects it from scratches and dings as well. Nice lookin' rifle you have there too!
You won't regret it. You will have a (IMO) better action that is already trued and a great barrel and stock to work with right out of the gate.

Also, is the A5 worth the price increase or should I just stick with a A1?
I have one also and have 3520 rounds through it. I hate to say this but find it boring to shoot as it works better then I do. When the stars are right (me) it is just a great shooter but wasn't fun to put together like the others I own. I bought it put a scope on it and shot it. Doh! Wish all the others were this boring. Lol
Seriously it really is a nice out of the box rifle and is really squared away for a production stick. Wish mine had the new bottom metal but I have 10 mags of the old and I'll keep what I have.

I chose the FN Spr because it is one of the most accurate rifles out of the box. I slapped on a Bushy HDMR 3.5-21x50mm and shot a .620 group using 168g FGMM the first day I brought it home.
I do wish it came with a threaded muzzle though, I guess I could have it sent out to a smith to have it done. I also adjusted the trigger down to 2.5-3lbs, very easy to do with these win70's.
I really want to hydro dip my rifle. Does anyone know how durable this will be? I would think it would be just as durable as a good coat of paint right? Kinda looking at the home diy kits.

I think the AR type ergonomics is the way to go. Most are familiar with them, and if not they are easy to learn. Sort of has become an industry standard.
Only you can say if the A5 is worth it for the price increase. Some (like me) actually prefer the A3.
I like the idea of protecting your scope with the wrap Bear24. I've seen folks do some funny things to protect their equipment when shooting from up against a verticle base.
Mine's not a .308 (6.5 CM) but it shoots as well as the others here.
