Hi guys,
I'm new to Sniper's hide and was hoping you guys could help me narrow down some scope choices. First, a brief background on me, I live in Oregon, got a wife and 2 kids + a dog. I mostly bow hunt but I've been getting more into shooting lately and am going to opt for rifle tags this year. I primarily hunt deer and elk and won't be taking a shot further than 400 yards, at an animal anyway. That said, I would like to be able to reach 600 yards confidently at the range. I'm in the market for a new scope to put on my Tikka T3 Lite SS in .308. The scopes that have been catching my eye are:
The Meopta also seems like it would be a solid choice and it's the most affordable.
The other Steiner, seems pretty perfect, although it's quite heavy compared to the others, which is the only flaw I'm seeing. It's also the second most expensive.
The Swaro is the most expensive but I'm the buy once, cry once type of guy so I don't mind biting the bullet if the quality is noticeably better.
I'd love to hear your recommendations.
Thanks for your help! Looking forward to being part of the SH community.
