Guys,
I am getting a lot of reports and private messages about low post count people posting in the PX.
In the past, there were multiple ways to reach Full Membership, you could make a 100 posts, you could be a member for 45 days, you could buy a new member for sale section membership.
Today with the new system you have two methods, you can make a 100 posts, or you can pay to buy a full membership.
What this means is, you cannot only use a person's post count to determine their membership status. Their individual post count is just one method.
IF the person has made a post in the for sale section, they are allowed to post in the for sale section. The system will block anyone not allowed. It's pretty automatic.
You have to do your homework to determine the fidelity of the buyer or seller. This is not a paid service, we are getting hit up far too often by people wanting US to vet their sale, or handling reports because guys see a low post and report the thread. I appreciate you looking out, but look out for you, and don't rely on us to do your homework for you.
I understand the PX is super popular, especially since the FB groups are blocked from sales. The popularity of the site, in general, makes it a target for scammers. If everyone buying and selling are contacting the moderators we would be doing nothing else.
The PX is a value-added option for our members. it's not a paid service we are providing you. Those who do pay to post are buying Full Membership and not a sales contract. We do not get involved with your individual sales. If you can't handle the effort, don't do it. We are not your supervisors. If two parties have a conflict our options are very limited. This goes with scammers and bad deals too. All the site can do is ban and block the offending party or parties. We are not the police, we are not guaranteeing your sale or purchase, we just provide the pixels, you can post a picture of your dog in the hot girlfriend thread, or you can sell your unused widget.
Handle your business or I will put tighter restrictions on the whole thing.
