115 DTAC. Die makes a popping noise when lowering the ram after seating. I never could figure it out and wasn’t aware there was a vld stem.
Hi TN Shooter,
It sounds as if your seating stem has flared. The popping noise is likely the stem exiting the bullet channel of the die chamber. A quick way to diagnose a flared stem is to take the die apart following the steps in this video - .
