Accessories FOUND: Tripod setup - go ahead and upgrade and sell me your setup!

Looking for my first tripod for both camera and my rifle PRS use. I know, two different things, but if I can a decent rifle setup I know my camera will be fine!

Anyway, not looking for a hog and saddle setup. Would like to utilize my arca rail. Looking for a full setup, tripod, ball head with adapter to my arca. I could be totally off here on what I need, etc... tripod setups are new to me. Just did my 30 min research on the hide ?

My max is $500, all in shipped. Doesn't mean I need to spend all $500, could save some for more toilet paper, paper towels, and bottle water!

What are you looking to purchase for $500.? The ball head on my set up was over $400. The tripod was over $1300. If you’re looking to compete in PRS, you need something lightweight that provides a solid platform. I’ve shot off cheap stuff, and its Ok for shorter distance, but out past 500 yards the more stable the tripod and ball-head set up, the more accurate.

A brand new rt90c with a leofoto lh-55 brand new would be a smidge over $500 new and would be great as a starter set up. Not everyone has the money to blow two large on a tripod set up. ? Do what you can with what you’ve got.

Appreciate the feedback. Tripod found from another member for a great price. LNIB PVA Comp 40 w/SC-44 ballhead for an amazing deal. Well under my budget. This will suit my needs well for now, and potentially a while. If not, I'll upgrade when it makes sense to higher end ballhead and leveling base (RRS Anvil-30, etc). I could see the tripod itself being a good enough base for my needs! Time will tell... stay safe everyone. ?
