I don’t think the USMC ever used camo...I believe olive drab is all they used.
You are definitely right. But they are also covered in krylon so who really cares.
I guess when someone advertises incorrectly that “All details spec to exact USMC configuration” and that’s not accurate, it’s worth pointing out.
Most guys I know who are building “spec” rifles do care about the details.

Ya man sorry it didn’t work out. Just FYI, when McMillan has them in stock you can use your military discount and get 25% off. Stock ends up being like $750 shipped. I’ve used it several times. Worth a call to McMillan to see if they have one laying around...
