Foundation fitment question

Just trying to see if anyone has run multiple actions in the same footprint through theirs. Specifically looking to see if a Lone Peak Fuzion would fit in an impact 737r inlet. I know they are both R700’s but I’ve been told that foundation stocks have very specific tolerances. Reached out to foundation on their website and social media without a response so any guidance would be much appreciated.

That is hard to believe that John Kyle hasn't gotten back to you, he's a super nice guy and extremely customer oriented, he is probably just out of pocket. I have a Genesis for an Impact 737R and I tried my Defiant action in it and it worked perfect. If you don't hear from John Kyle, you could probably call Tate at Impact and he would know as well. Altus may also be a source that would know. Hope that helps

Call the shop and ask. They're great to speak with. Just got a foundation today from brown Santa...now for the action to be ready and ship. It fits my rem 700 like a glove and it's inletted specifically for a Terminus Zeus that I dont have yet.

You will not want to put an impact in a lone peak foundation.

Lone Peak is a gusseted bottom and impact is round.

Yah, that’s a good point. I was unsure of the bottom side of the impact, I was hoping that the LP would have good bottom contact and just need a little bedding compound for a filler at most.

Called up there today, John was awesome to speak with and super helpful. The lone peak will not fit just to confirm, forced me to order a new MG2.. haha.

Ya. That’s the downside to being milled to specifically fit. And also well enough to not need bedding.
