"Freedom wheelers" nonprofit Cherokee build

Sup gang!

Pretty stoked on this and thought I should share,

The other day I found out I was chosen for the next freedom wheelers build. they are a non profit organization for disabled veterans that take their current ride and re build it from the ground up.

currently they are going do build up my 91 cherokee (daily driver) and another vets jeep in texas.

here is the local article

Veteran to receive special Jeep build - Nugget Newspaper - Sisters, Oregon News, Events, Classifieds - Sisters, Oregon

you can find freedom wheelers on facebook ( be sure and show them some love) but thought I would show the process here as a build. Apparently the local deschutes 4 wheelers are going to help with the build as well at a local shop and I will get to be involved to some extent.

overall I am not sure what the build will entail since they told me there will be alot of secrets but I will definitely show the end result with all the specs.

I was asked to share some of my thought on what I would like to see at the end result, I guess there is going to be a new power plant, lift, tires and paint but other than that I am not sure what it will entail.

what do you guys think that would be bad ass for this thing?

That's awesome! While heavy machine guns would be awesome the first thing that came to my mind was some slide out storage bins in the back. Think police SUV storage. Something lockable that will fit a rifle or 3, some ammo, and all your shooting doodads.

Congratulations! What an awesome organization to be able to do this!
I pushed my XJ changes to align more with JeepSpeed than with the rockcrawler stuff. Most used upgrade so far- lighting. I would rather jump over/through stuff at 50-70mph than spend half a day going two miles. Although now, I daydream a bit more on the Adventure Travel side of things...so maybe a roof top tent? On board air is awfully handy for dusting off dirty equipment though...

some ideas?....
