Most men will spend their lives dreaming about going on a date with Mila Kunis – but for one U.S. Marine, that fantasy may very well turn into a reality.

Sgt. Scott Moore, of the 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines in Musa Qala, Afghanistan, last week set up a YouTube page and posted a video asking the “Friends With Benefits” star to accompany him to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18th in Greenville, North Carolina.

“Hi Mila, I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps. Ball with yours truly,” the uniformed sergeant said from his digs in Afghanistan. “So take a second to think about it and get back to me. All right, bye now.”

And when FOX411 asked Kunis about the invitation over the weekend, her “Benefits” co-star, Justin Timberlake, assured Moore he was going to make it happen.

“Have you seen this? Have you heard about this? You need to do it for your country,” Timberlake asked Kunis excitedly, before sending out a direct message to Moore. “I’m going to work on this, man. This needs to go down.”

After questioning her publicist if she knew about the invitation, the clearly flattered 27-year-old actress agreed.

“I’ll go, I’ll do it for you,” she said, turning to Timberlake. “Are you going to come?”

“They don’t want me! They want you,” Timberlake responded. “You need to do it for your country.”

Kunis nodded.

“I’ll do it,” she confirmed.

So get that limo reserved, Sgt. Moore!

Re: Friends with benefits star going to USMC Ball

She's been in a bunch of stuff now, but like boone said, she played on That 70's Show, she is also the voice of "Meg" on Family Guy, she was the lead female role in Book of Eli, and more recently, she starred opposite Natalie Portman in Black Swan.

As for her going to the USMC Ball...that brings my respect for her to a whole new level!! I hope she comes through on this one because that's just an awesome thing to do!

Re: Friends with benefits star going to USMC Ball

Just heard a bit on the radio a little while ago that she may have to back out because of another prior contractual engagement that she is locked into. Allegedly, if she can't attend the ball with Sgt. Moore, she has promised to meet him at another time for a "date." Not sure if this is correct or just more Hollywood rumor-mill crap, but its a shame if that's the case...hope she gets her sched. worked out.

HOWEVER, there is now a female Marine that has videoed/youtubed Justin Timberlake, Mila's co-star in the FWB movie, asking him if he'll go to the Ball in D.C. with her according to the same radio bit.

Re: Friends with benefits star going to USMC Ball

Well the news is saying that she backed out claiming a scheduling conflict (who buys that?)...

Anyway, I think her PR person is going to slap the shit out of her if she keeps declining. Can you imagine the public backlash from that..?

I must be getting old: I have no idea who she is.

But this sounds like a good thing for the Marines... well, at least a good thing for one Marine and a bad thing for the rest of them.

Re: Friends with benefits star going to USMC Ball

If she does go, and admits that she had a good time and they were a great bunch of young, intelligent men and women in uniform, then her career in the entertainment industry will be ruined.
I assure you there are a lot of people who immediately discouraged her from going, and berated her for it, especially in that business.
They consider being a High School dropout, Socialist, druggie actor a much more sophisticated vocation than being a Combat Arms Marine. After all, we've heard many times how they have no other prospects, are inherently violent sociopaths, or are too stupid to do anything else. And naturally, since he's in Afghanistan, then he has PTSD, like all Servicemen and women(even if they never see combat or leave ConUS) as well as being brainwashed in USMC Recruit Training as a impressionable and vulnerable young teen.
Her life and safety might be at risk, going into the Lion's Den of Camp Lejeune.
Oh, and Marines are notoriously Homophobic, and Hollywood cannot support that kind of Politically Incorrect behavior.
She'll be lucky to be selling maps to the (other) stars homes on the streetcorner if she does this.
Then again, she might actually have a good time. I know if I was still in the Corps, and took her to a Birthday Ball, I would see to it she had a real, real good time.

And if she does go she might come back to Hollywood bow-legged, and if she does go back and isn't in a wheelchair then the entire world will be asking the United States Marine Corps "What the Fuck?!?!"

No, all that would mean is she didn't say "Please?'
