Not a "tactical" rifle but anyone looking for a nice light compact hunting rifle might be interested.

Recently we got in a Weatherby Vangaurd II Hog Reaper for my son (16)

Shot it over the weekend..
less than a 1/2 dozen down the pipe, .4" average

Son got on a pig Saturday night but it was moving and he didn't feel he had a clean shot so he passed..

He likes it and it so do I :)

My wife has a .270 vanguard. It shoots the lights out, especially for the money. We've only got 600 bucks or so in the whole rig and it'll shoot right around 2" at 200 with the cheap corelokt remington stuff. I can only imagine the accuracy potential if you could get good bullets in .277...
