The ACOG is machined into the upper? Can you post pics of that please? Was that to get a more reliable and lower mounting point?

Yes sir, the ACOG sits nice and low and I set the eye relief exactly where I need it. I think it looks cool too!
JP has this machine cut in his uppers as well.
