Still have mine from boot camp C Rations summer of 82Oh yeah! Well this doesn't use electricity, takes up very little space and fits in the palm of your hand. It works every time! After 47 years, I still have mine. When I go, it will be buried with me.

I worked at a gas station while in HS which gave out the stamps for all purchases, so if the women did not get their stamps, you had to make a extra trip back to the office to get 'em because they were not leaving until they got their stamps. My mother collected 'em as well, and I never got anything from the "stamp store" even tho I had to help fill the books. LOLYou speak from experience! My mom got the sponge. I suspect strongly that the jars full of stamps were a way to keep me contained. The dry tongue just prolonged it.
I have that exact fan.

That was an interesting article. I must have the pre-WW2 version as it does not have the locking feature to stay closed, yet I got it in 1976.P38...

The P38 Can Opener: WWII's "Other" P-38
The P-38 can opener, sometimes called the "penny pocket" opener, was used for much more than opening C-Rations by WWII soldiers.warfarehistorynetwork.com

It was always the tantrum throwing geek with emotional issues that would set it up for the teacher.
I’m my 30s so this is how I know that I’m just NorKal trailer trash.
Since your posting up old stuff, this is sitting my my shop. Sticker price on pack of smokes is 35 cents. Everything works as should and has all the labels for changing brands out.

So, truly, the answer to the question of life, the universe, and everything is 42. (Thanks to Douglas Adams, RIP.)
He looks 46. Just like every other 36 yo in 1971.
Aaahhh…. The smell of fresh cedar…
anything negative about those S&H green stamps was strictly forbidden in mixed company.Growing up, I worked at my Dad's gas station. Never issued stamps, but I remember glasses, stickers and even a cardboard model of the Apollo 11 Lunar Module. My Mom collected green stamps. I think she and your mother may be sisters. I got nothing...and was forced to liked it.
You want to gripe about the stamps? Looky here, I just found another jar and a bunch of empty booklets. Now you can gripe and be productive.anything negative about those S&H green stamps was strictly forbidden in mixed company.
