I came across a few of those on the highway likely dazed from flying into the sides of 18 wheelers.
Unlike hawks they were a bitch to sneak up on and capture as they would rotate their heads 180 degrees and catch me trying to get behind them.
Hawks I could catch on my own but owls I’d need to have a second Trooper to keep the bird eyes front while I would come in from the back….

I was a kid growing up in Miami when this came out. Spent most of my free time at the beach back then. We saw one of the first showings of Jaws when it came out in '75, line around the building...
Next day, beaches were packed but VERY few people were getting into the water. When somebody got up and started walking toward the water, people were acting like meerkats, stopping to watch the guy walking towards the water, like... is he frikin crazy?!?
Easy to do... just shoot 200 or so times over three hours and don't miss.

I think this is sort of a “Nefarious Trap” but I guess the home owner can claim some innocence…..sort of. Depends on which came first the mail box or the gas line?

Perfect for page 1200…. My son and I several years ago on my R1200GS, heading out for a ride in the German version of the hill country when I was stationed over there.
Hard to believe he’s been out of college two years, and married now. His little sister is about to head off to school too, and we’ll finally be empty nesters!
Well, except for the MIL who moved in with us last year! LoL
