That engine powered victory in the pacific. Say what you want for a Merlin, but the r2800 was dead solid reliable, efficient, sounded cool, and it's short cowling length in the F6F allowed for better deflection shooting in a dog fight than any water cooled V-12 could ever hope for.
Yesterday was bad. Headache was off any scale and felt like my body was trying to fight and kill itself.
This morning my temp is normal. Normal as in my regular below average 97.6!
I feel good, just a little fatigue. I just need to drink, drink, drink and get my fluids built up and I am tentatively hopeful I may survive.
No matter what they argue about, Azithromycin works against this stuff.

Keep up with drinking those fluids and don't rule out IV hydration if you have access to such.
