Ain't got shit on the pedals we run these days. And I have the scars to prove it.
Way before those existed, the only option for pedal traction was to sharpen those rounded nubs into a V.
The scars mostly healed. When good pedals finally hit the market, those mild steel pieces of shit went in the garbage
So more complicated and more expensive with no significant improvement in function.
Sounds like a product whose target market is women. Or 6.5 shooters.

No kidding! I have a old friend that is getting into E-mountian biking with me. He's got a balance problem from a brain injury due to a moto cross accident when he was 40, now at 64. He's getting better riding though and got shin guards.Ain't got shit on the pedals we run these days. And I have the scars to prove it.
I hope they don't need to carry anyone really heavy, or open a pickle jar.
