Im more dad these days than wild man though.
Im an adrenaline junkie.
Once was on a solo backcountry ice climb when almost the whole waterfall peeled off and crashed 45’ below me. I had a tool stuck in a crack of a rock as the ice Was thin and that saved me, so I get it.
I went and climbed a bit more after that (with a partner and gear) and decided to stop. Sold my gear.
who wants to strap metal to their feet and stand on ice all day??? Its freakin cold.

Back in those days( 2003 ) I was superman. GSXR 1000 and serious daily workouts.
Post crash I’m an old man (50) that walks like Mr. Magoo.

Possibly the greatest injustice never told. Irish slaves in the Caribbean. Forced inter breeding, life long indentured servitude. Not even valuable enough to keep track. Just rounded them up in the streets in Ireland and shipped them off to never be seen or heard or even acknowledged. And to add insult to injury , most won't even acknowledge that it even happened.
