Well yeah, what do you expect? The sun is racing around to come up behind him again... He'll be cold and tired by the time he gets home, have to warm his bones beside the fire.Pretty good, but he's just frittering away the hours in an offhand way. When he finished he was shorter of breath and one day closer to death.
wait behind a bush near the street and throw pine cones at friends riding bikesDefinitely some memories there! When I was a kid we also used to have pine cone fights with the ones that were still closed before they opened up. Those suckers hurt!!
We didn't have pine cones, but we did have mud dobbers nest out of the barns. Nothing better than hardned mud filled with larva and dead spiders.wait behind a bush near the street and throw pine cones at friends riding bikes
In the Philippines, there is an island called Vulcan Point.
It is an island, in a lake, that is in an island in a volcanic lake on an island in the ocean.

WTF. How is the suffering of another human being 'funny & awesome'? Wrong thread, should be here: socially-unacceptable-humor
Obviously you've never taken a green walnut to the head....We didn't have pine cones, but we did have mud dobbers nest out of the barns. Nothing better than hardned mud filled with larva and dead spiders.

I got a ride in one of these back in the 60's...was probably about 10 or so at the time. Freaked me the hell out when they drove into the water!
I'm quite surprised about that, since apparently there are maybe 400 of these left in the world. I have found where there some local enthusiast owners that go "driving" in those waters. If it's truly a rental situation, can you provide a link to it?You can still rent these in Port Clinton, Ohio and take a ride out on Lake Erie. When I was at Camp Perry for the CMP Cup Matches last week I saw folks in them every day, haha.
There was a sign on the building that said Amphicar rentals....so no other link that I see either.Yup, I saw that. But not "rentals" as you mentioned.
