Reminds me of when some “kids” at school shoe horned a big block Chevy into a Chevy Love ! Talk about power to weight ratio! I’m still amazed that they reached adult status.

I agree. It's been 20 years or so ago, I read that every person on the planet could have a house and an acre of land inside the state of TX with room to spare. I always wondered how accurate that was
Population has gone up a bunch since then. They say we are at 7.8- 8 billion now. These maps show 2010-2011ish numbers

As to the rest, it is scary how right you are. It is a cool place to live however. During the Chiefs games the B-2's fly very low over my house on the way back to whiteman. They are cool planes.
The interesting thing is you are seeing things you don't usually see in this neck of the woods. A C5 is a huge plane when it is sub 2000ft agl. And fighters, we never saw fighter planes around here. It has been a long time that I drove an airplane, but I don't remember a military airway, or a MOA around here. There is one down by Truman but this far north, I don't remember.

I grew up in the back of one of those, for the youngins that little door over the back would pull up and you would have like a jump seat back there facing backwards. If you had a "fancy" wagon mom would let the window down for you. You could make faces at the cars and try to get the truckers to blow their horns.

That end had like a cotton type stuff in them that was the seed pod. They usually grew along the edges of ponds and such. We had fists full of the things. So we start going down the highway and are in the back, don't know if the seat was up or we just crawled back there, and down the highway at 75mph we lean out the back window and start pounding the things on the back bumper.....it was fantastic. Just like a destroyer making smoke in the movies.
I vaguely remember this television show.
I think it was called Little Dump in the Desert or something like that.
