hello everyone, im new here and would like your opinion on a future build. as of rite now i have a rem. 700 .243 that i want to rebuild into a predator rifle. i have a couple questions concerning my ideas. is there such a thing as a match grade bull barrel?, im looking into 105 gr. amax bullets, would a 1:8 twist be good for stabilizing this bullet or would 1:7 be better? i am looking at a mcmillan a-5 stock and need to know if they have aluminum pillers? also, what would it take to change from a bdl action into a dbm with ai 10 rd mags? im planning on gtlass bedding and truing the action, having the original trigger weight reduced down to 1-1.5lbs. what else could you recommend for getting better accuracy? im thinking about getting into reloading but ive never done it so im gonna start out with factory loads and try a few and see what kind of results i can get.also i should note that ive owned my .243 for about 15yrs and im pretty sure the factory barrel is wore out. i can still get "decent groups" 1moa to 3/4 moa but i know this gun is capable of far more than that, so what else would you recommend to me for accuracy enhancements?
