I received an e-mail from Ross at PGW yesterday that said they have the UNS mounts for the M40A5 "currently in stock."

Took her to the range Today . Only had 20 rounds loaded up to try some different loads . The three targets are at a 100 yards and the one shot n see is at 300 yards. It's a GAP so what can I say............

I think that's the load that closely dupes 175 FGMM.

Wow...That turned out really nice and the accuracy is maintained. Proves what all those "Shorty" guys have been sayin'. Not just LL. Exc. GAP, congrats.

The targets were shot at only 300 yards. It's what happens at 1kyd that is the question with short-barreled rifles. Short barrel simply means less muzzle velocity, not less inherent accuracy.

Guys,

The craziness of January got in the way and it turns out that only one month on all the PGW rails are sold when I emailed to get one, thanks anyways One Eyed Jack. According to Ross the USMC picked up their order and any spares they had, a new run is apparently not that far away...

I wonder if there will be much velocity lost with the barrel being cut down?
