GAP Titan muzzle brake

[A10XRIFLE]

The Titan is a new brake we started producing a few months ago. Its a two port design with more surface area at the ports, the ports are still at a 2 deg angle upward so there is not any ground affect when shooting prone. They are 1" in Dia. They are threaded 5/8x24 .650 deep. They can be turned down to .830 to blend into Rem varmit/PSS barrels.

Looks good, George. Moon installed a Thruster brake on a barrel for me. It was done so perfectly that I won three beers betting on whether someone else could point out the seam where it was fitted.

It has a tension bolt to hold it in place so that it cannot vibrate off and can be removed by the shooter. Titan and thruster style brakes are not specifically designed for easy removal.

Bbl action, floor metal/tguard runs $265.00 for finish in cerakote.

Sorry I thought that was self expanatory as its threaded on, Yes you can remove it buy placing 3/8 square tubestock, Brass rod, 3/8 delrin Etc in the rear port and unscrewing.

Your barrel and the brake will have to be re-finished if you want it blended in its a $50 refinish charge.

If you dont want it blended that $180 does include finish on the brake of whatever color we have that closely resembles the barrel.

We do not Loc-tite or Glue them. only a little antisieze and correct timing.

Its a little more that, The $265 is complete finish of the rifle. Includes parkerizing all the steel parts and dryblast on the stainless parts then the cerakote is applied and cured in the oven, the $265 includes dissasembly and re-assembly of the rifle and test fire/cleaning after assembly.

If you were to send in a Rifle for a Brake the finish charge for the Barrel and Brake would be $50

Yes but it would not be blendable that way. everyone wants them to look like part of the barrel when you do that it makes them hard to remove, I can mill flats into them so they are easy to remove with a wrench thats the easiest but only a small percentage would care for that. Everyone is different.

Thanks George. That's what I was thinking but wanted to make sure. I know I heard you can do it with the Thruster so I figured these would be the same. Not that it would be coming off and on alot but if someone wanted to shoot F Class it's nice to be able to pop it off if need be.

Nice looking brake. Might have to send my .308 back in for one.

GAP did a great job on my .308 AR with a fluted 20"

Just got her, so I haven't shot her yet. She sure is sexy though.
