GAP10 ShowEm Off Pics

Thanks to the folks at GAP. Scopeless but not for long.

Took a call from Dustin yesterday. GAP10 is nearly complete. Sent my can to be tuned for the gas block today. Ordered Nov 16th. Not to much longer

.308/20"/Badger FTE/DMR trigger/Magpul PRS/finished in Magpul Green

Annie from GAP called. Rifle is complete(Apr 18).

Nice. Almost same as my config but fluted 18 all in FDE. Glad to see how the brake looks.

After break in and sighting in I ran four 5 shot groups. Please go easy on me for this was my first tme doing PRECISION rifle shooting. They seemed to get better though. Can't wait to shoot again.

Ordered mine on Oct 23rd. Received on May 4th.

It seems awfully sparadic on configuration in relation to order date and ship date.

Anyone who has got theirs in, how does it ship? Does it come in a hard case from GA, anything cool from them like some logo stuff they have online, any little extras?

It came with the standard black hard case. Was hoping for some stickers to throw on my Pelican, but no such luck.

thanks that's what I figured but I wasn't sure if there was an Atlas mount that worked with the sling attachment. I have seen bipods that did mount over the eyelet before, I just wanted to make sure I had the correct Atlas.

Thanks again.

Mirage was more significant than I expected after a few rounds through the suppressor, so a Rifles Only TAB SAS3 cover for the Cyclone is on order to complete the package...for now.

WOW that looks a lot like mine. What is your barrel length?

Beautiful rifle, IMO GAP-10 and JP LRP-07 are two of the sexiest, most accurate, and reliable rifles you can get. Not to mention the time and money George and John Paul puts into the shooting world.

I swore I posted pictured of my GAP-10's last spring when I got them, however I didn't see them anywhere??? Either way here they are again, enjoy!!!

10" 338 Fed - Fluted, Threaded, 11" Hunter X-Rail, Timney 670, Law Tactical Gen 2 Folder w/ Ace M4 SOCOM Stock
20" 308 Win - Noveske Switchblock, Fluted, Threaded, Geissele DMR, PRS, MB-300 Brake & Suppressor
20" 260 Rem - Noveske Switchblock, Fluted, Threaded, Geissele DMR, PRS, MB-300 Brake & Suppressor

I've got another fun SBR on the way; I should have it in the next few weeks and I'll be sure to post up pics of it once it arrives!!!

On a side note; anyone looking to cut some weight, I highly recommend contacting Chris @ Hogan and ordering one of their X-Rails...

fap fap fap...

What's the weight savings with the X Rail ?

The 11" X-Rail handguard is 10 oz lighter than the 11" mid length Sniper/Tac hand-guard... It was certainly worth it for me as the weight savings really helped balance out my 10" SBR.

Just an FYI, before anyone runs out to buy an 11" X-Rail handguard, please make sure that your GAP-10 is equipped with the mid length 11" handguard otherwise it may look quite unconventional. According to their (GAP) website GAP-10's with barrels less than 20" come with the mid length 11" handguard and GAP-10's with barrels 20" or longer have the rifle length handguard which is a little over 13" long... With that said, unfortunately at this time Hogan only makes a 11" X-Rail. I almost forgot to mention that the Hogan X-Rail handguard it is compatible with the 2" & 4" Troy BattleRail TRX Extreme quick-attach rail sections...

Mag1; I like the rail mounted collapsible post, that eliminates the need for a rear bag. What is it called and where did you get it? My GAP-10 with a Magpul PRS stock is almost done, I would like to get one. Thanks Henry

I found it!

Which would be a better fit with an Atlas up front on my GAP-10 and a Accu-Shot PRM BT12 or BT13.

BT12:Elevation Range 3.75 – 4.65”. Weight 7.4 ounces.

BT13:Elevation Range 4.75 – 5.65”. Weight 8.3 ounces.

I had both, but the BT12 fitted me better.

I am also hoping mine will be soon! They are dipping it in ATACS. Bronson, those are so awesome; I am speechless! How the hell do you decide what to shoot? I bet they are all tack drivers too. How does that 338 federal do past 100 and have you tagged any game with it?

GAP308, congratulations! I bet your happier than a 3 peckered puppy!

One question I never asked GAP (As I know it will be quality but I am just curious.) is who makes the BCG and is it a standard manganese phosphate mil coating? Anyone know?

Finally got her all put together.

Gap-10 .308
20" Barrel
Surefire flash suppressor
SSA-E Trigger
PRS Stock
Atlas Bi-pod
Schmidt and Bender PM11 5-25 MSR Reticle

Mounted the scope myself using levels and a plumb bob line. First scope mount ever, I believe we nailed it.
