Gas block crooked

Re: Gas block crooked

Give it a couple whacks with a rubber mallet, just don't overdue it to damage the gas tube. Check all your pins also to make sure they are seated correctly, there will be two under the gas block that holds it on and a roll pin for the gas tube.

Uh...don't whack it with a hammer.

If the gas block is pinned on, all you're likely to accomplish is bending what used to be a square gas block into something very crooked. If it's off enough to be seen by the naked eye, contact the manufacturer and send it back for them to fix what should have been correct before it left their control.
