Curious if anyone has used there ultra 7 or 9 on a precision semi-auto. I used my TBAC cans on my bolt guns frequently, but not on any semi-autos yet. I like to keep gas blowback to a minimum, so have only been using my surefire cans on my semi-autos. I don’t plan on going ham with the Ultras on a semi-auto. Same rate of fire as with my bolt guns. Anyone have experience with this?

I put agb's on my semiautomatic 223, 300blk, 6.5g and it took care of overgassed and excessive blowback..

I'm using a U9 on my WOA 20" rifle length gas barrel with no noticeable blowback and no adj gas block. Only around 60rds thru it so far using IMI 69& 77 gr ammo. The 69gr chronos at 3000fps with a 2-230 ejection which would indicate being slightly over gassed. The 77gr chronos at 2850 with a 4 o'clock ejection.

I'm sure ymmv depending on caliber, gas system, ammo etc with so many variables in a gas gun platform.

Glad to hear these positive reports of TBAC Ultra use on semi autos. I want to run the Ultra 9 on a seekins semi auto, which does have an adjustable gas block. Thanks for to all the feedback.

I must be the only one. I run an Ultra 5 on a couple .223's and a Valk. All run AGB's. The 14.5" .223 gasses me out pretty darn good.
Are you using a standard spring and buffer?

I can't prove it or make justification but a H2 buffer and flatwire spring seen to help on my sbr's, 223 and 300blk.

Seems to be a popular set up that the hide suggested for me.

Edit: Both my sbr's are 10.5 so maybe a H1 for you ?
